As a non-profit association, we rely on our members to pay membership fees to cover our running costs for infrastructure and labour. These contributions are vital as they enable us to continue our mission and maintain our service. Through your support, you actively help us achieve our goals and make a positive impact in our community. We are grateful for your commitment and financial support, which enables us to continue our charitable work and make a difference.
As mentioned below, the membership fee is 50 EUR/CHF/USD per adult member per year, which refers to the calendar year, i.e. from January 1 to December 31 of the current year.
If you become a member in December, we will also count your contribution for the full following year.

The price for membership of SafeBlood is 50 EUR/USD/CHF per adult member per calendar year. Children and teenagers up to the age of 18 or still in education are free of charge.
Please note that we have a different pricing structure for the USA, effective August 2023, as safeblood USA is a separate legal entity and we can offer different services tailored to the USA. Please go to safeblood.comย if you would like to sign up as a member in the USA.
This amount has been in effect since 2025. If you became a member before 2025, the 50 EUR/USD/CHF was only a recommendation. You were able to decide for yourself how much you wanted to pay us as an annual membership fee. Many members found this too complicated and wanted a fixed annual amount. This has been in effect since 2025. If you became a member before then, the conditions that applied at the time you joined SafeBlood still apply to you, which in your case means that you can still determine the amount of your contribution yourself. If you can afford the above-mentioned membership fee, we would of course be delighted.
If you would like to become a member but cannot afford it, please send us an email and apply for a free membership or a reduced membership fee. We are aware that there are cases where this is necessary.
